The Cours Municipal d’Adultes has no guidance service. With this in mind, we advise contacting the CIO, CIDJ, CANM, amongst others, to devise a training plan if you are uncertain as to what choice to make.
From 25 Euros to 440 Euros depending on the training time (year or semester) and the number of hours per day. Refer to the training description for the price of any given course.
The Cours Municipaux d’Adultes organise training level tests in a certain number of subjects. The proficiency certificate is issued to those who pass this test.
It attests to the student’s regular attendance. It is issued to students who have attended 75% of their classes.
Municipal adult education courses are designed solely for private individuals. There is therefore no possibility that the company will bear the training cost.
Attending a training course provided within the framework of the Cours Municipaux d’Adultes de la Ville de Paris (municipal adult education courses) does not open the way to a residence permit issued by the Préfecture, the only regulatory body competent to this end.
The Cours Municipal d’Adultes is not a certified training institution. The courses are designed for private individuals and hence no agreement has been entered into with companies. An attestation of payment can be issued to the person concerned, at his or her request.
The Cours Municipaux d’Adultes de la Ville de Paris (municipal adult education courses) are specially designed for Paris residents. Some subjects (for example yearly language classes, Duperré applied arts and the Internet) simply cannot accommodate the extensive number of applicants. For languages, opt for six-monthly courses if highly motivated.
Students are barred access to classes, with no possibility of refund, following three consecutive absences, without the head of the institution or the teacher having been informed to this end.
